Seattle Nightlife Guide: The Best Nightlife Spots in Seattle

Seattle is one of those cities that never sleeps. Many people move to Seattle for that reason – to never be more than few steps (or a short drive) from the excitement.

Some people move to Seattle for awesome job opportunities (something our Seattle corporate relocation movers are happy to help with). But once the work hours come to an end, they want to let loose and visit some booming clubs or fun bars in Seattle.

There are plenty of things to do in Seattle at night. Our Seattle movers live and work in the communities they serve. Being local, they know a thing or two about finding the best nightlife spots in Seattle. Here’s their simple Seattle nightlife guide to the best bars and best clubs in the city.

“Ask anyone around “The Town” about clubs, and (for better or worse) they’re gonna tell you about this Seattle classic.” – Tallulah Anderson [1]

This two-level nightclub is located on downtown Seattle’s Pioneer Square. A tree-lined area with historic red brick buildings, its nightlife is hip, young, and endlessly energetic. Trinity Nightclub is a longstanding staple of the city’s nightlife scene and one of the best clubs in Seattle. It has four different themed rooms, two dance floors, and a lounge. The dress code changes depending on the event.

Aston Manor

“With a 1920’s theme, the full-sensory experience can include acrobats and fire breathers.” – Jacklyn Grambus [2]

Originally a speakeasy built into the mansion of socialite Roy Aston during Prohibition, this nightclub retains its Great Gatsby aesthetic while blasting the latest in EDM and pop music. Located in the SoDo (or “South of Downtown”) district of Seattle, a historically industrial area now made up of revitalized warehouses. With two floors, a balcony, an outdoor patio, and a VIP section – you can party like it’s 1920, just follow the business/fashionable causal dress code.

Bathtub Gin and Company

“Even if the speakeasy trend has become tired across the country, there are still quality alleyway bars well worth the cliché. Bathtub Gin is one such joint” – Travel and Leisure [3]

Located in the chic Belltown neighborhood, Bathtub Gin and Company is one of the best bars in Seattle. Look for the varnished wooden door under Humphrey Apartments and enter this classic cocktail lounge. Wood counters, red brick walls, a small library, and six seats add to the intimate atmosphere. Happy hour is from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

“Damn the Weather exemplifies the new trend in combining craft cocktails and small bites, plus a dose of whimsy.” – Travel and Leisure [4]

With a name that winks at Seattle’s infamous weather, this local gastropub located in Pioneer Square is a quintessential Seattle nightlife spot. Red brick walls, hardwood and marble floors, and floor-to-ceiling windows set the scene at this cozy hangout which serves craft cocktails, local draft beer, and small dishes of American fare. Open by 11 am every day, happy hour is 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

“The bar is named after a gin cocktail and also serves as a declaration to not whine about the rain and just get out there and enjoy life — or at least a cocktail and a duck hot dog or two.” – Tan Vinh [5]
