Safest Neighborhoods in Seattle

Established Moving and Storage Seattle knows that moving to a new city can be scary. There is a lot to look into, with one of the main things being if the city is safe or not. We are here to show you some of the safest neighborhoods in Seattle.

What Are the Safest Neighborhoods In Seattle?

Seattle is an amazing place to live, filled with music, entertainment, an array of job opportunities, and more. When thinking about your move here, our Seattle movers want you to know about the things to do but also the safest areas to move to. We want all our customers to feel secure and know the kind of neighborhood they are choosing to move into. Neighborhoods are often ranked by the results of analyzing crime reports and the likelihood of a crime happening. With that in mind, here are some of the safest neighborhoods to look at for your next move.

#5 Matthews Beach

Ranked #5 on Upgradedhome.com’s list of the safest neighborhoods is Matthews Beach. Known for its beach and popular places to hang out lakeside, this neighborhood is 80% safer than many other cities in Washington State.1

#4 Bryant

Next on the list is Bryant, located not too far from Downtown Seattle. With a population of over 5,000 residents, this is a great place for families to call home. There are plenty of places to eat and parks nearby, not to mention the low crime rates.

#3 North Beach

This quiet neighborhood overlooks Puget Sound, a beautiful body of water. North Beach has a population of a little over 2,000 people and is the perfect place for middle-class families. It offers privacy, nice yards, plus private beaches and parks for the residents. Its low crime rate landed this cozy neighborhood #3 on the list.

#2 Blue Ridge

This beautiful neighborhood offers panoramic views of Puget Sound and the Olympic Peninsula. This primarily single-family home neighborhood has a population under 2,000 people and has a low crime rate, which is how it found itself as the second safest neighborhood in Seattle.1

#1 Hawthorne Hills

The number 1 safest neighborhood is Hawthorne Hills. It has a population of under 1,500 and the lowest crime rate out of all 101 Seattle neighborhoods.1 With views of Lake Washington and the Seattle mountains, minimal traffic, and its quick commute to the city, this neighborhood is great for commuters looking to work in the city that don’t want to be in the middle of the hustle and bustle.
