What to Do for Halloween?
Halloween can be filled with all kinds of spooky fun, or it can be a great fill for all the fall lovers here. South Florida may not always get the fall weather, but we definitely come alive with Halloween and Fall spirit.
Trick or Treat Weekends at the Museum of Discovery and Science
This event in Fort Lauderdale is fun for the whole family. Guests can dress up in costumes and enjoy the museum’s activities all month long. Kids can create their own trick-or-treat bags and see LIVE how makeup artists create super creepy monsters. These spooktacular events will happen on Saturday, October 30th, and Sunday, October 31st, from 10 am – 5 pm.
House of Horror Haunted Carnival
At Miami International Mall, you can find the largest Halloween experience in South Florida. There are four unique haunted houses, “Mall Mayhem,” “Toxic Apocalypse,” “1455 Asylum,” and the “Scare X Studios,” all which lead you to unlimited carnival rides and treats. There are dates all throughout the month, starting Thursday, September 30th at 6 pm.
Pirates of the Wharf – Halloween Weekend at the Wharf FTL
Saturday, October 30th, you are invited to put on the best costume you can come up with! Enjoy live music, cocktails, and food in the spirit of Halloween. The event starts at 12 pm and runs until late. Both children and leashed dogs are welcome until 6 pm, but at that point, it will become 21+ only!
Flamingo Road Nursery – Fall Festival
If Halloween activities aren’t for you, then head out to the Flamingo Road Nursery for a day filled with all kinds of Fall fun at their Fall Harvest Festival! Pumpkin patches, apple cider, and so many family-friendly activities. It goes on for six weeks, starting on September 20th and running through November 7th daily from 10 am until 6 pm.
