- Run Jax Labor Day 5K Run
- At 7:30 AM on September 6th, there will be a run hosted by 1st Place Sports Running on Baymeadows Road.
- “Party and Paint” Labor Day Weekend Paint Party

- On September 4th, from 7:30 PM – 10:00 PM at the Majestic Event Complex, there will be an adult-friendly event filled with hip hop music, art, and fun. You must be 21 or older to attend.

Beaches
We are home to so many beautiful beaches. If hitting up an event doesn’t sound like something you want to do, then grab your beach chairs, pack your coolers, and head over to one of the city’s four main beaches!

Here you can relax, surf, paddleboard, and do other water activities. For the history buffs out there, you can even go to the Beaches Museum near Jacksonville Beach and learn about some of the town’s local history. Around the beaches, you can also find great food and nightlife.

For our more outdoorsy visitors and locals, Jacksonville also has the largest urban park system in the U.S. If national parks and preserves are your thing, we have over 20 to keep you busy this holiday weekend. These include beach parks, state parks, and plenty of hiking and biking trails.
Breweries
Ever heard of the Jax Ale Trail? No? Well, you can pick up your Jax Ale Trail Brewery Passport at the Jacksonville Official Visitor Centers and get started. There are 22 participating breweries, and as you work your way through each brewery, there is a chance to win prizes and get some merchandise.
